Merkle Selects ParAccel Analytic Database

Merkle selected the ParAccel Analytic Database for its higher performance, scalability and cost effectiveness.

ParAccel, Inc., provider of the ParAccel Analytic Database, a high–speed, low–effort, columnar database management system, recently announced that Merkle, one of the nation’s largest and fastest growing database marketing agencies, has implemented the ParAccel Analytic Database at its new Columbia , Md. headquarters.  Merkle selected the ParAccel Analytic Database for its higher performance, scalability and cost effectiveness, and will be using the software as part of an upgraded consumer data warehouse platform for its clients’ business to consumer (b2c) marketing programs. 

“We are re–architecting the current application to become a next–generation solution,” said Christian Wright, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Merkle.  “Our business is about reducing cycle time to access and analyze data. Our goal is to limit the time spent updating the system to maximize the value derived from it.”
