Business Insight/CMU-RC to Host Green IT Seminar

Industry and government leaders will come together to discuss how they are using advanced analytics (predictive modeling, advanced visualization, data mining, etc.) to make business decisions related to sustainability and environmental impact at the seminar entitled, "Plan it Green:  Producing Increased Value through Predictive Analytics," to be held October 2nd in Livonia, Michigan, sponsored by Business Insight, a CMU-RC consulting group.

Topics and speakers include:

  • Steelcase Case Study: Lessons Learned While Embedding Environmental Sustainability, Melissa DeSota, member of the Global Environmental Strategy and Programs Team at Steelcase Inc.
  • More Than a Feeling: How Sustainability Can and Must be Justified by Manufacturers, Michael Newkirk, Global Industry Marketing Manager for Manufacturing and Supply Chain, SAS Institute
