Experian QAS, specializes in customer data quality software and services, announced that the WORKFORCE West Virginia Division of Unemployment
Compensation and the Agency for Workforce Innovation of Florida have selected Experian QAS address verification products to streamline claims processing and ensure the quality of claimant
and employer contact data.
West Virginia and Florida join a growing list of state unemployment agencies using Experian QAS products to improve the quality of claimant and employer contact information. The Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry, Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training, Massachusetts Division of Unemployment Assistance, Ohio Department of Job & Family Services, Colorado Unemployment Insurance, and Alabama Department of Industrial Relations are already current Experian QAS customers.
QAS Pro and QAS Batch will be deployed at the WORKFORCE West Virginia Division of Unemployment Compensation. The agency will be using these tools to decrease staff time researching incorrect and incomplete addresses.
"The Contribution Accounting Section of West Virginia Unemployment Compensation Division purchased QAS software to work toward resolving problems with large amounts of returned mail caused by incorrect addresses provided by employers or by address changes," said Michael Moore, Director, Unemployment Compensation, West Virginia. "Failure to contact employers or establish correct addresses when setting up accounts creates unnecessary postage costs for our agency and complicates our efforts to maintain employer compliance. We believe that the QAS software will enable us to catch errors upfront and alleviate some of the problems we have encountered in the past."
