Published: June 26, 2008
CSC will continue to provide comprehensive mainframe and mid-range services to DIAC offices throughout Australia and its overseas posts in support of the department's core Border Critical Infrastructure initiative.

CSC recently announced that it has signed a two-year information technology contract extension with the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC). The estimated value of the contract, which now runs through 2011, is $103 million (AUD$110 million).

Under the terms of the new agreement, CSC will continue to provide comprehensive mainframe and mid-range services to DIAC offices throughout Australia and its overseas posts in support of the department's core Border Critical Infrastructure initiative. In addition, CSC will provide DIAC with application maintenance and project services.

"This contract extension further demonstrates DIAC's confidence in CSC to continue providing IT services while delivering value for money," said Bob Correll, Deputy Secretary and Chief Information Officer of DIAC.
