AMB Predictive Data Management, the New Generation Data Empowerment innovator, has added outlier processing to the AMB-PDM suite, a unique offering from a data quality assurance vendor. Customers utilizing the new outlier processing capabilities will now have two additional columns of information presented to them, which show the degrees of sigma numeric columns that are from the statistical mean. With this capability, AMB customers will, by using AMB InfoExpose, be able to easily discover data anomalies and other suspicious data outliers and identify and document patterns, thereby unmasking undesirable activities by process participants.
AMB’s latest innovative feature provides users of their Predictive Data Management software suite with the groundbreaking capability of outlier processing as a means to ensure high quality data for analytical and operational use by detecting data that is considerably dissimilar from the rest of any given data set.
“By integrating statistical outlier discovery into AMB’s New Generation Data Empowerment’s InfoExpose, any company that can be impacted by suspicious data deviation will now be able to detect and identify what’s outside the data norm quickly and easily. This has never been available as part of an integrated, comprehensive data quality and profiling solution,” states AMB-PDM President Steven Meister.
