Spotfire, a division of TIBCO Software Inc., recently announced it has been positioned in the Visionaries quadrant in Gartner, Inc.'s recently released Business Intelligence Platforms 2008 Magic Quadrant. Vendors were evaluated based on their completeness of vision and ability to execute.

According to Gartner, "BI platforms enable users to build applications that help organizations learn and understand their business." The TIBCO Spotfire enterprise analytics platform for pervasive BI enables every user in the enterprise to gain more insights from the data they work with every day.
