Appfluent and Cognos Extend their Strategic Partnership Agreement

Cognos will utilize Appfluent software to help its enterprise customers deploy, manage and scale business intelligence and data warehouse applications.

Appfluent Technology and Cognos recently announced an extension of their strategic partnership agreement. Under the agreement, Cognos will utilize Appfluent software to help its enterprise customers deploy, manage and scale business intelligence (BI) and data warehouse applications. 

Appfluent’s software leverages the Cognos 8 BI platform to empower enterprise IT organizations with actionable insights to optimize query performance, rationalize database and storage infrastructure and mitigate unauthorized data access. This optimization helps customers speed database response times by providing a better understanding of how users are accessing data and pinpointing which data is the most relevant across the database.
