Originally published June 11, 2007

TAGSYS, a provider in item-level Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) infrastructure, recently announced a more secure, reliable and higher-performing standards-based RFID system for libraries. The system includes the new Folio 370L Tag Family, the L-SP2+ pedestal for upgraded security and the LSA-4, a new, high-performance, mixed-media antenna. Combined with TAGSYS’ family of RFID readers, the innovative hand-held WiFi inventory reader and e-connectware RFID management software, libraries now have an end-to-end RFID infrastructure solution to more efficiently and effectively manage their inventory of books, CDs and DVDs.

“TAGSYS’ strategy in creating an integrated, standards-based RFID infrastructure lowers risk, speeds deployment and generates a faster ROI for the library community,” said John Jordon, President of Worldwide Field Operations for TAGSYS.  “These new products are the result of TAGSYS’ cross-industry expertise in the reliable, accurate and secure tracking and tracing of high-value goods.”
