Iron Mountain Selects BusinessObjects XI

Originally published February 15, 2006

Business Objects, a provider of business intelligence solutions, recently announced that Iron Mountain, a provider in information protection and storage services, has deployed BusinessObjects XI as its enterprise business intelligence standard.

"BusinessObjects XI significantly enhances our business intelligence capabilities, supporting our decision making processes and our ability to measure how well we execute against business strategy," said Dave Weldon, Vice President of information technology at Iron Mountain. "We expect to see tangible benefits in the first quarter of 2006, and through 2007 and beyond. An 18 month payback is a very short time frame, and that is a conservative estimate on how quickly we expect to see an ROI benefit for Iron Mountain."

Iron Mountain first deployed Business Objects solutions to the company's marketing department and will extend the business intelligence capabilities to the rest of the organization on a rolling basis. Iron Mountain is implementing Crystal Reports XI and BusinessObjects Web Intelligence XI, as well as BusinessObjects Data Integrator XI for extracting information from various Iron Mountain source systems.
Iron Mountain provides records management and data protection services to more than 275,000 customer accounts in 26 countries, and operates more than 800 facilities throughout North America, Europe, Latin America and the Pacific Rim. With BusinessObjects XI, Iron Mountain will be able to take advantage of its rich customer and business information.
