Edison Properties Standardizes on BusinessObjects XI

Originally published November 29, 2005

Business Objects a provider of business intelligence solutions, recently announced that Edison Properties, has standardized on BusinessObjects XI for enterprise performance management.

With BusinessObjects XI, the New York based real estate company now has an integrated platform that offers reporting, analysis, web-based access, and performance management capabilities. Edison Properties operates office, parking, and storage facilities, and will use BusinessObjects XI to replace a time-consuming manual process of building reports in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets with the ability to perform ad hoc queries and automatically generate and distribute reports via a web-based portal.

"From our call center operation to our parking lot gates, we have historically collected huge amounts of data that we have not been able to fully leverage," said Bob Baksa, IT Project Manager for Edison Properties. "By using BusinessObjects XI to obtain a combined view of all this information, we will gain insight that will help us improve both business operations and customer service."
