TIBCO Software Inc. recently highlighted the continued momentum of the TIBCO Spotfire Analytics Platform and its position in the business analytics market through a series of reports and opinions issued by leading industry analyst firms. Gartner, Inc. recently examined the most critical capabilities that enterprises should consider when selecting a business intelligence (BI) platform vendor in its report "Critical Capabilities for Business Intelligence Platform Integration." After rating 13 BI platform products against a predefined set of criteria, TIBCO Spotfire garnered a score of 4.3 out of 5.0 based on eight critical capability areas that factored into overall product viability. The Critical Capabilities report is a comparative analysis which scores competing products against a set of critical differentiators identified by Gartner.

As this relationship between BI and the greater enterprise software infrastructure continues to become more critical, Senior Analyst James Kobielus of Forrester Research recently wrote a blog post titled "The New Decade of Advanced Analytics: Roll Over Rocket Scientists!," which describes "CEP and PA/DM -- the deep present and future, respectively -- as key to the evolution of business intelligence (BI)... the vendor that has integrated BI, CEP, and PA/DM most effectively for the mass market is TIBCO Spotfire..."
