Middlesea Insurance plc  is one of the largest insurance companies in Malta and transacts an array of insurance products ranging from commercial lines business, personal lines insurance, health and life. Established more than 25 years ago, Middlesea processes detailed information content from its systems to enable critical operational and strategic decisions.

InsFocus' competitive advantage lies in its understanding of core insurance and reinsurance concepts and the merging of technology with these concepts. InsFocus BI system for insurance shall replace the current information systems at Middlesea with custom-made data model integrating the group’s operational systems with InsFocus insurance-specific data warehousing solution.

InsFocus is working with key stakeholders at Middlesea to ensure participation and ownership of key underwriting, claims and reinsurance components. The project was launched in July 2009 and its first phase has already been delivered and in daily use. It is expected to be fully implemented by April 2010.
