Syncsort, a global leader in high-performance data processing, data integration, and data protection & recovery software, recently announced it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the 2009 Magic Quadrant for Data Integration Tools.
Gartner has specific criteria for including vendors in the report. The criteria includes that “They must possess within their technology portfolio the subset of capabilities identified by Gartner as most critical from within the overall range of capabilities expected in data integration tools.”
In 2009, Syncsort rapidly expanded its customer base for its high-performance data integration software DMExpress and in October, it announced its Data Integration (DI) Acceleration Solution for existing DI environments. The solution pairs DMExpress, with professional services and training specifically tailored to eliminate the performance bottlenecks that cause data latency and impede timely access to mission-critical data. This enables customers to more efficiently pursue strategic initiatives around revenue growth, customer acquisition and retention, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
“From our perspective, Gartner has recognized Syncsort’s ability to help customers unlock the business value of their data,” said Flavio Santoni, CEO at Syncsort. “Building on the rapid growth of our customer base in 2009, we see more opportunities ahead to continue to propel momentum for our data management solutions by offering unparalleled ease of use, optimized hardware utilization, and faster access to information essential to making critical business decisions.”
