U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Awarded CSC the Information Technology Infrastructure Operations IDIQ Contract

CSC recently announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) awarded the company the Information Technology Infrastructure Operations indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract, which has a three-year base period and four one-year options. T

Under the terms of the agreement, CSC is one of two companies eligible to compete for task orders in two of the four functional areas defined in the IDIQ. CSC will compete to provide Web services, including Internet and remote access to the HHS server, as well as hardware and software services such as network file sharing, data backup and restoring, help desk and desk side support, and network administration.

"CSC is committed to providing cost-effective and flexible enterprise solutions to meet HHS business requirements," said Tom Anderson, President of CSC's North American Public Sector Civil and Government Health Services Group. "We will enhance the agency's technical capabilities by improving security, increasing reliability and standardizing procedures and processes."
