Just a few months after launching its next-generation data warehousing appliance, Kickfire, Inc. recently announced that it has won new customers, including Mindspark Interactive Network, Inc, a division of IAC and LiveRail, a rising star in the video ad server market. At a fraction of the cost of high-end data warehouse systems, the plug-and-play Kickfire appliance is enabling these new customers to quickly and easily increase their data warehouse performance by up to 500 times.
“Kickfire is gaining traction not only with high-growth MySQL start-ups that need a low cost system, but also with enterprise customers that need to increase performance, but don’t want to spend another million dollars to do it,” said Bruce Armstrong, CEO of Kickfire. “We are pleased to see a broad level of customer interest in our product as it brings an affordable and easily deployable solution to the mainstream data warehousing market.”
