Oracle Insurance recently announced the availability of Oracle Insurance Insight 6.0, an insurance–specific data warehouse that now leverages Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition for dashboards and analytics.

The new release enables insurance companies to conduct comprehensive and flexible policy, claims and customer analysis without the need for costly customized integrations.

Oracle Insight 6.0 aggregates and streamlines access to enterprise data, including policy, claims and customer information, enabling insurers to gain a single view of the customer and the insurance enterprise, and act upon the insight gained from this view.

The latest release leverages the scalable, modern architecture of Oracle's business intelligence middleware to enable insurers to deploy a complete, warehouse–to–analytics, insurance-specific business intelligence solution.

The warehouse and pre–built analytics in this release provide insurers with the flexibility required to perform cross–functional relationship reporting, such as combined policy and claims data analysis. Insurers can also drill down to a specific line of business or coverage attribute for expanded insight.

Oracle Insurance Insight contains the transactional data warehouse model as well as the line-specific data mart structures, making it one of the most comprehensive business intelligence solutions for insurers on the market.
