Oracle Announces the Oracle Exadata Partner Program

Originally published October 12, 2009

Following the announcement of Oracle Exadata V2 last month, Oracle recently announced the Oracle Exadata Partner Program.

This new program will allow Oracle partners to resell Sun Oracle Database Machines and Sun Oracle Exadata Storage Servers, and also provides partners with enablement resources to help build value added services for Oracle’s customers.

As part of the new OPN Specialized Program, Oracle is developing the Oracle Exadata Knowledge Zone with Guided Learning Paths and partner centric training materials that are scheduled to become available in the coming weeks.

“The Sun Oracle Database Machine is an enormous opportunity for Oracle and its partners,” said Judson Althoff, Oracle Senior Vice President of Worldwide Alliances and Channels. “This new program allows partners to expand their portfolios and participate with us to help increase the ecosystem of solutions and services for Oracle Exadata. As we ramp up this program, partners will be able to certify themselves for the Oracle Exadata Specialization in OPN. This will enable our customers to identify partners that best help them maximize their Oracle Exadata environments.”
