This channel was developed by practitioners for practitioners. Its primary focus is to provide meaningful insights into best practices and to communicate what works and what doesn't. The channel explores Agile BI from many aspects - the theory and the reality, applying Agile principles to BI solutions, tools and techniques for improving team velocity, and how to accommodate reality when pure Agile concepts just simply won't do. Most importantly, the channel explores both the business and technical sides of the equation, as establishing a symbiotic balance between the two is perhaps Agile BI's most important imperative.

While Agile methods are not new, applying them to BI solutions is. And while much has been written about the topic, most articles and presentations address Agile BI at a fairly high level. The Agile BI Channel is intended to allow you to view Agile methods from both the mountaintop and from the weeds. The channel will take many twists and turns, providing information about lessons learned by some battle-tested BI/DW veterans up to and including new and emerging concepts and tools that enable BI teams to achieve ever-increasing levels of performance and quality.
