Embarcadero Technologies has been in the market place since 1993, went public with an IPO in 2000 and went back to privately held in 2007. Along the way they have grown one of the most fiercely devoted user bases I have ever seen. The words "cult like" comes to mind and its meant with nothing but complimentary tones. In July Embarcadero acquired CodeGear a company formed by Borland adding 3.2 million predominantly non-us based users to the already strong customer base of ER/Studio, DBArtisan and other solutions. The best part is Embarcadero's new found laser focus for the market They want to help you design it with all the tools to visualize your data and code, build it with the tools need to create, optimize and deploy code and run it with the tools you need to manage live systems.
Bottom line is that you should take a good look at them they have a full head of steam and a great suite of tools that will fix your headaches.
