Boulder - 34 sq miles surrounded by reality

I live and work in the Boulder Colorado area and without a doubt its a unique place to live. Overall I think its fantastic but certain things about the culture do give you reason to pause. I have yet to understand the appeal of Crocs footwear. While surfing yesterday I stumbled on this image and I think it says it all.
