Open Source solution providers Talend and SugarCRM announced a partnership today. I caught up with my buddy Yves de Montcheuil Vice President of Marketing for Talend and Paul Oh, Director of Technology Alliances at SugarCRM to get the details.

SugarCRM has just released the public Beta for version 5.0 and it's feature rich to say the least. SugarCRM has evolved from an open source project in 2004 into a serious enterprise player. They are offering 3 levels of the solution a free community version, SugarCRM Pro and SugarCRM Enterprise. As the SugarCRM solution evolves so must its partner base. Being that CRM solutions sit between numerous applications, ERP systems and multiple data sources it makes sense that they would look to Talend for data integation and ETL. Talend can match the product line up of SugarCRM as it also provides a multi level solutions structure with Talend Open Studio, Talend Integration Suite and Talend On Demand.

Both companies are serious about the partnership and Talend has gone the extra mile to become a Certified Partner making sure that the two solutions will be tightly integrated and functioning at the highest level when paired together.
