Gnomedex 7 - Travel can be fun

Every once and a while you find hidden gems while traveling. The more time I spend in Seattle the more I seem to find. Saturday night I visited the Pike Street Market area, I was on a quest to locate a shop that I have come to love from a distance. My good friend Andreas recently introduced me to the wonders of Uli's Famous Sausage. In his words "its better than any sausage he can find in Germany". We recently had Uli's shipped to Colorado so Andreas and my family could enjoy a feast. I highly recommend Uli's its well worth the shipping fee.

After wondering around the market I stumbled on the Pike Place Bar and Grill it overlooks Uli's and the famous neon sign at the market. Have you ever visited a restaurant thats decor and vibe over shadowed the food? Thats what Pike Place is all about, Boston and the Doors on the jukebox, a little dusty, a little worn out, great service, fantastic chowder, my favorite bourbon and a $19 rib-eye. Put Pike Place Bar and Grill on your list when you visit.
