Ok, I know its Gadget Friday and last week I got a couple of "where's the gadget emails" But I need to do a little news coverage this morning. The world of data warehouse appliances is buzzing today with the announcement of Netezza's intention to go for an IPO. As I'm sure you know Netezza was the first to market in this space and has been the pioneer. My initial take on this is that its exciting and good news for the entire sector. As I've said in the past the DW Appliance space is nothing short of fascinating. Congratulations to Netezza. I know many people on the team there and couldn't be happier to see good things happen to good people.
