Blog: Shawn Rogers« John Edwards - Gnomedex part 2 | Main | And this guy helps run our country? » Sitting in SeattleGnomedex wrapped up last night with a party sponsored by Microsoft. The event was held at the Experimental Music Project (EMP) located near the base of the Space Needle. I got a personal tour of the Seattle Music wing of the EMP from Dave Derderer guiarist for the Presidents of the United States. Daves roots in the Seattle music scene go back long before the emergence of Nirvana and Heart. It was a little surreal to be chatting with a guy who's guitar, picture and videos were playing in the display. Dave treated us with an imprompto jam session upstairs along with Doug Kaye and another Gnomedex attendee. To top off the evening I won a U2 edition video iPod, more on that in my next pst. |
