And this guy helps run our country?

Normally I avoid politics in my blog but I couldn't resist on this one. Last week I mentioned that the Net Neutrality Act was being debated in Washington and how important it could be for all of us who use the Internet. This week Ted Stevens Chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee shared his insights on the subject and frankly I'm terrified that this guy is in Washington setting policy for our use of a technology that he clearly has no clue about.

His handlers should be ashamed of the job they did prepping him for this speech. I'd suggest that the Senator step aside and allow informed policy makers to debate this subject.

Just to help you sleep a little better Senator Stevens is also President Pro Tempore (PPT) of the Senate and third in the line of presidential succession, behind the Vice President and the Speaker of the House. Makes you want to run right out and make a donation to the Heart Association on behalf of Chaney doesn't it.

Listen to Senator Stevens here it will make you laugh or cry one of the above
