Popularity Contest

Still at airport and I'm in a blogging mood!

I do a lot of SEO (search engine optimization) work for friends in the industry. Keeping up with this ever changing landscape is a passion of mine. Anyway from time to time I like to look at whats hot in our space keyword wise. I think if most of us were asked which term is the most popular today, data warehouse or business intelligence we'd all probably assume it was Business intelligence.

I was surprised to find that both terms are almost equal in regards to how often each is searched for on Google and also how often the term is mentioned in google news. The interesting part was the second graph that shows where these searches are coming from........food for thought?
