Yes, I said data mining. It discusses how companies have created predictive analytics programs based on many dimensions of the game to predict which line up will score better, overall player evaluation and other insights into the game. A company called Virtual Gold has lead the market and serves 5 NBA teams with it's software. I was thinking that it could be a great advantage to a coach or.....a gambler? I'm glad my fantasy football addiction has not gone down that road. More on the data mining article |
