Google Wants to Rule the World

Or at least the world of online map services. I feel bad for the nice folks at Mapquest. If you haven't seen the new application (toy) Google Earth you need to. It being billed as the 3D Interface to the Planet.

It may be tough to get a copy last I heard (07/01/05 8AM)Google was forced to close the site because the download traffic was much heavier than expected. I've included a couple shots here:
