Umbria Communications - Understanding the Blogoshere and beyond

I was reading Blogspotting this afternoon and ran across a piece by Stephen Baker that he wrote about Umbria Communications. His discussion with Howard Kaushansky President of Umbria is worth the read.

I also had the opportunity to meet Howard Kaushansky a couple months back. Howard and I met at Starbucks in Boulder and a great conversation about his technology. Umbria's ability to analyze the unstructured world of Blogs, chats and discussion forums on a massive scale provides companies and marketers a unique view into the world of consumers.

I see Umbria as a great fit for any software firm looking to aggregate and analyze all of the various forums and website that cover, discuss or critique their solution.
