Is it me or is this dumb?

Orlando International Airport is preparing to roll out a new program that would allow travelers to purchase a biometric ID card in order to speed-through the airport security lines. The kicker is that a card holder is guaranteed NOT to be selected for extra screening. I am a true fan of technology (geek at heart)as well as a very frequent traveler and I can clearly see the appeal of this program to a normal traveler. But I can't help but think that a would be terrorist might be able to scrape up 80 bucks to make his life easier.
