As co-founder of the BeyeNETWORK, acquired by TechTarget in 2010, I am privileged to participate in many industry-related activities as a BeyeNETWORK expert covering business intelligence and analytics. NextGear Capital is the result of the merger of Dealer Services Corporation and Manheim Automotive Finance. NextGear Capital provides inventory financing for automotive dealers. Chris attributes much of the success and competitive advantage that the company has had to their current technology platform and people. The global healthcare analytics market will continue to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 23.7% through 2017 according to a report from MarketsandMarkets. Additionally, IDC Health Insights recently published Business Strategy: Analytics Leads Accountable Care Investment Priority, which was based on the results of two IDC surveys. The report  identified that over 50% of the respondents (hospitals and insurers) stated their highest investment priority was advanced analytics. By leveraging analytics we have the potential to dramatically reduce the death rates from predictable and, in many cases, preventable non-communicable diseases (NCDs).

I recently spoke with Michael Hegarty, Corporate Business Strategy, and Joe Beydoun, Distribution Systems and Business Intelligence, from Lipari Foods. Lipari is celebrating 50 years as a specialty food distributor.
