Ron Powell

Thanks for visiting my blog. As co-founder of the BeyeNETWORK, acquired by TechTarget in 2010, I am privileged to participate in many industry-related activities as a BeyeNETWORK expert covering business intelligence and analytics. These events provide me with a unique insider perspective into the business intelligence ecosystem, its products and the vendors that provide those products. I'll be sharing that invaluable information with you through this blog, which will also be a reflection my business philosophy. And, just to make this interesting, I'll be sure to include my personal point of view on a wide range of topics and share some of the stories of people I meet in my travels.

Each year, BARC (Business Application Research Center) conducts The BI Survey, the largest global survey of business intelligence usage. The survey gauges feedback from approximately 3000 BI professionals and provides a wealth of information on the factors - strategic and product-related - that contribute to the most successful BI implementations.

If you are in the market for a BI tool, or you simply want to see how your product compares to the rest of the market, I encourage you to take part in this year's survey - The BI Survey 10. You have to act quickly because the survey will close soon. (All participants receive a summary of the findings and have a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card.)

Just click here to take part in The BI Survey 10.
