Check out the ODF Add-in for Word 2007 project, where it reports that Microsoft is providing "Funding, Architectural & Technical Guidance and Project co-coordination". The current release is 0.1, so this story is just beginning. Good times. |

Pete, you may want to reconnect w/Nathaniel Borenstein (of First Virtual Holdings fame...you remember the book you wrote on that? ;-), who's now working for IBM and has been involved in the ODF standards committees.
