While I don't share the thoughts of comments on the post, I am wondering why a wireless carrier would want to get into the business of "locked laptops" as well as "locked phones".... I can see partnerships with PC makers like Dell and Lenovo to sell the broadband cards. However, I can't see the upside of "hardwiring" a broadband card into a laptop for the average business user. There are just too many issues from support to investment to "public outrage" to make it a viable business model. Just my two cents... What do you think?
