Blog: John Myers« Efficiency vs Strategy | Main | The Elephant in the Room » Another “new” voiceRecently, I have found another "new" voice in the telecommunications blogging space. Eric Priezkalns has an interesting blog on the topic of revenue assurance. His wealth of experience and his perspective (ie non-US) lend a different viewpoint on revenue assurance than I typically see here in the 'States'. I particularly liked his posting about how revenue assurance has matured and how it can no longer be viewed as a new "practice". I agree that revenue assurance isn't exactly a new practice. However, there are lots of organizations who are moving from manual and man-power intensive revenue assurance to more automated forms of revenue assurance. While the concepts are the same, I definitely think that there are enough challenges that most organizations who make the shift will think that they are in a brave new world.
