Unbelievable air travel story

I returned from the Independent Analyst Platform last night. I'll be blogging a recap of that next, but my flight was not cancelled or delayed due to mechanical, weather or bad planning. We weren't kept in anticipation of what was going to happen for hours on an 20-minute by 20-minute basis. There was a full staff ready to go. We were single-digits in the line for takeoff. There was room for a measley million-miler Platinum flyer like me to get an upgrade. It left on time and arrived early - no circles over New Mexico. When we touched down, there actually was a gate ready and it was the one we anticipated getting.

It was a one novel flight. The second and third would just have to wait.

The flight was packed to the gills however!
