I have seen a horse fly and a house fly but now I have to say that I have seen a donkey FLY! Yes indeed -- today, Oracle announced that it would in fact buy Siebel Systems. I do hope the marriage is happier than the analysts had predicted... (see my May 5 blog)

I would love to be a "fly on the wall" during the meeting between the two companies' leaders to decide who does what...

Oh Yes, Donkeys DO Fly ! Can they land all they have in the air safely ? Why the redundancy of CRM components ? And people ? And customers behind that ?

Would love to see the motivation behind that move.

A flying TALKING donkey!! (Shrek/DreamWorks reference). Claudia, can Pigs Fly too? Wonder what kind of Business Intelligence it takes to make this kind of decision...

Cheers :)

I don't know a whole lot about the aerodynamics of donkeys, but we have plenty of proof that turkeys can't fly: starting with AOL-Time Warner...

The turkeys not flying rule was violated in the dotcom era - with a strong enough wine, even turkeys can fly.
