It's Time To Reinvent Your BI Strategy

Business intelligence (BI) sits at the top of the IT priority list for many enterprises. Enterprises that haven’t paid enough attention now see a need to act, and those that have kept up with BI want to consolidate their siloed implementations. The promises of BI attract any organization, but how do you get started? Enterprises face multidimensional choices, and they cannot start with vendor selection. BI is priority more for the business than IT. It is time to re-think BI. The reason is simple - Business requirements change frequently but IT being a cost function is not setup to deal with that. Any IT solution that takes months to implements and is risky makes BI unsuitable for a huge mass of companies. A SAAS model combined with a packaged applications approach to BI is the right answer. It is a solution that aligns with business need, is delivered at business speed and appeals to business greed (affordable).
